[FOOD] Spanish Style Calamari

We looooovvvvved this tapas from our recent trip to Barcelona, so I tried making my own version at home!

Ingredients:

  • 500g baby squid
  • olive oil
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • lemon
  • cilantro

Directions:

  1. Clean squid and remove ink. Set aside and pat dry with paper towel.
  2. Season squid with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat cast iron and fry squid for about 1 minute, then drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Stir in garlic, then add cilantro once garlic turns golden brown.
  5. Serve with lemon. Enjoy!

You can also put parsley in blender and food processor, and pour on to the cooked squid before serving 🙂
