We tried a vegetarian restaurant on a recent trip to Baler, and G ordered tofu sisig. I liked it so much, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so here you go:
Ingredients:
- 500g tofu, sliced into dice
- garlic – minced
- red onions – chopped
- green chili peppers – thinly sliced
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- olive oil
- oyster sauce
- lite mayonnaise
Directions:
- Deep fry tofu – set aside
- In a bowl, mix 3-5 tablespoons of mayonnaise with 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. Add in a little bit of sugar, if you like it sweet
- Drizzle olive oil in a heated sizzling plate or cast iron, saute garlic and onion for about 2 minutes
- Add in tofu, then mix in the mayo sauce. Add chili peppers. Enjoy!
